Since 1989, the Logopress Company develops CAD software dedicated to the tool makers' and tool designers' needs. Until today, we were providing a full 2D CAD software for design press tools in the sheet metal trade. In Europe , more than 200 users work daily with this software. Most of them work in the automotive market. Some clients employ 1or 2 employees, others employ one thousand or more. In 2001, we decided to develop a 3D solution on SolidWorks. Obviously, our target is to transfer all our know-how into this solution and to provide the best solution in the cutting stamping trade.
The Logopress3 Software is designed in 3 modules.
With the first module this is now very easy to define the unfolding and the unbending of a 3D sheet metal part. It gives anyone handling 3D pieces in sheet metal, a speed of execution and simplicity never before achieved to create a flat pattern and visualise the resulting constraints.
The second step allows the user to define the strip in a very pleasant and efficient way.
The third step (planned for end 2003) will allow the user to define the tool structure, integrating standard components, creating automatic dimensioning tables... Logopress3 is fully integrated in SolidWorks and uses its entire power. It has been designed and studied in SolidWorks for your needs.
